Ciryl Gane Reacts To Francis Ngannou's UFC Exit, Sees Potential For Tougher Fight Against Jon Jones
Ciryl Gane, who is set to face Jon Jones in a fight for the UFC heavyweight championship at UFC 285 on March 4, has reacted to the news of Francis Ngannou's exit from the UFC.
Gane, who once trained with Ngannou early in his MMA career, said he was happy with the news and believes that he will present a different and potentially more difficult challenge to Jones than Ngannou would have.
Gane also stated that he is a fan of Jones and sees this as a dream opportunity to fight a "GOAT" in the sport.
He also sees this as a second chance to become undisputed heavyweight champion after coming up short in his previous bid against Ngannou and the opportunity to hand Jones the first legitimate loss of his career.
