David Benavidez, the WBC interim super middleweight champion, has accused Caleb Plant of requesting a larger ring for their upcoming fight on March 25th on Showtime PPV.

Benavidez believes Plant wants the bigger ring to give him more room to move around during the fight, but he plans on cutting off the ring and forcing Plant into a war that he predicts will end in a knockout victory for himself.

Benavidez has been in training camp for 2.5 months, as he initially prepared for a fight with Jose Uzcategui before switching his focus to Plant.

However, Benavidez acknowledges the possibility of overtraining and being drained from overwork by the time of the fight.

He has been sparring 12 rounds with four different sparring partners for the last two weeks.
