Luka Doncic Makes Return To Mavericks' Lineup vs Pistons

Luka Doncic, 23, returns after missing 1 game due to left ankle sprain.

Doncic will play tonight vs Detroit Pistons (8:30 PM ET, NBA League Pass), per team announcement.

The Dallas Mavericks star sat out Saturday's 108-100 loss in Utah due to a left ankle sprain suffered last Thursday vs Phoenix Suns.

He stepped on Mikal Bridges' foot while making a move close to the basket vs Cam Johnson, limped away and Coach Jason Kidd called a timeout.

Despite Doncic's absence, Mavericks won 99-95 vs Suns.

This season, Doncic averages 33 points, 8.9 rebounds and 8.4 assists for Mavericks.
