Ronaldo To Captain Saudi All-Star XI In Friendly Match Against Messi's PSG

Cristiano Ronaldo will lead the Saudi All-Star XI team as captain in their upcoming friendly match against PSG on Thursday.

This will be Ronaldo's first game since joining Al-Nassr last month, in a deal that will see him earn £175m-a-year.

The team will consist of players from Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal. This match will mark Ronaldo's first meeting with Lionel Messi since December 2020, when Juventus faced Barcelona.

However, it's uncertain whether the two will meet again in the future as Messi is rumored to have a lucrative offer from Al-Hilal, and fellow Saudi side Al-Ittihad are also reportedly interested in signing him.

Ronaldo was previously serving a two-match ban and unable to play in Al-Nassr's recent 2-0 win against Al-Ta'ee, but he is now able to participate in this friendly fixture.

He has been preparing for his debut in Riyadh.
