Warriors Coach Kerr Jokingly Blames Teammate Poole For Crunch-Time Blunders In Win Over Grizzlies
The Golden State Warriors' Steph Curry learned a hard lesson in the 2016 NBA Finals when he threw his mouthpiece in frustration and the Cleveland Cavaliers became the first team to come back from a 3-1 deficit with a championship on the line.
Despite this, Curry couldn't help but express his frustration again during the Warriors' win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, resulting in his third career ejection.
The cause of his ire was teammate Jordan Poole's missed 28-footer that wasted a chance for the Warriors to go up by two possessions with just over a minute left.

After the game, Warriors' coach Steve Kerr jokingly placed the blame on Poole for the back-to-back mistakes.
However, the team was able to laugh about the incident and focus on their hard-earned win.
Curry and Poole even hugged and mocked the mouthpiece incident in the Chase Center tunnel.
Without this lighthearted attitude, the Warriors may have faced some difficult self-reflection after yet another crunch-time collapse.
