Damian Lillard's 42 Points Leads Blazers To Victory Over Hawks
Damian Lillard led the Portland Trail Blazers to a 129-125 victory over the Atlanta Hawks with 42 points and six assists on Monday.
Jerami Grant added 22 points and Anfernee Simons contributed 21 points and seven assists in the win.
Lillard made five 3-pointers and went 17-for-17 from the free-throw line, scoring 40 or more points for the eighth time this season.

Dejounte Murray had a career-high 40 points and 8 rebounds along with 7 assists for the Hawks, who lost their fourth game in the last five.
Trae Young, the Hawks' star point guard, was absent due to right ankle soreness.
With this performance, Lillard became the second player in Trail Blazers history to reach 5,000 career assists and trails only Terry Porter's 5,319 assists.
