Donovan Mitchell And Dillon Brooks Ejected In Cavs vs Grizzlies Altercation
Donovan Mitchell and Dillon Brooks were both ejected during a basketball game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Memphis Grizzlies.
Brooks is known for being an instigator, having been ejected from a playoff game last season for a foul on Golden State Warriors' guard, Gary Payton II.
The altercation between Mitchell and Brooks started when Brooks hit Mitchell in the groin while attempting a layup, leading Mitchell to throw the ball at him.
Brooks received a flagrant-2 foul and was disqualified from the game, while Mitchell was also ejected.
The Cavaliers were leading 83-77 when the altercation took place and went on to win the game.
The situation does not bode well for Brooks, who will become a free agent after the season and is looking to secure a long-term contract.
The Grizzlies need to improve in order to turn their season around.
