Dwight Howard Among 12 Players Ejected From Taiwanese Basketball Game After Massive Brawl
Dwight Howard, the former NBA champion, was ejected alongside 11 other players from a Taiwanese basketball game after a massive fight broke out between his team, the Taoyuan Leopards, and the TaiwanBeer HeroBears.
The incident occurred when Leopards guard Chen Hsiao-jung knocked HeroBears captain and point guard Chian Yu-an with an elbow in the face, causing a brawl with both players throwing punches.
The fight escalated into a massive free-for-all, and HeroBears assistant coach Lin Chieh-ho aggressively chased down Hsiao-jung, who retaliated before the game officials intervened.

Howard, who appeared calm and composed from the sidelines, acted as a peacemaker to de-escalate the melee.
However, both teams' benches cleared as players and staff threw punches.
Eventually, 12 players, including Howard, were ejected from the game, which was held up for over 20 minutes while referees reviewed the replay footage and evaluated the punishment for each player involved in the fight.
Despite being ejected, Howard registered 28 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists as the Leopards won the game 108-120.
A day later, he was named in the T1 league's first-ever three-point contest and included in the league's second-ever All-Star Game.
Howard, who moved to Taiwan and joined the Leopards in November after 18 seasons in the NBA, claimed he was wrongfully ejected and even high-fived fans on his way out.
