Giannis Antetokounmpo Breaks Bucks' Career Assists Record Before Leaving Game With Wrist Injury
Milwaukee Bucks player Giannis Antetokounmpo made history on Thursday night by breaking the team's career assists record during their game against the Chicago Bulls.
The NBA player required just two assists to surpass Paul Pressey's record of 3,272 assists, which he achieved between 1982 and 1990.
Antetokounmpo also holds the team's record for most blocks, triple-doubles, free throws made, free throws attempted, and minutes played.

He equaled Pressey's record when he provided Brook Lopez with an assist for a 3-pointer at the start of the game, before breaking the record when he passed to Jevon Carter for another 3-pointer later in the first quarter.
However, Antetokounmpo's achievement was bittersweet, as he exited the game with a sprained right wrist following an unsuccessful attempt to block a finger roll by Coby White.
The NBA star appeared to jam his wrist against the stanchion before he had to leave the court in the second quarter, grimacing in pain.
Antetokounmpo managed to play just nine minutes and scored a season-low of two points, grabbed seven rebounds, and provided three assists.
Despite the injury, Antetokounmpo is a seven-time All-Star player and a two-time Kia MVP winner.
Before the game, he was ranked third in the NBA in scoring, averaging 32.5 points per game, and tied for the league's top spot in rebounding, grabbing 12.3 rebounds per game.
He has an impressive career average of 22.5 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
