According to a report by The Athletic's Shams Charania, Kevin Durant is expected to make his debut with the Phoenix Suns on March 1 against the Charlotte Hornets.

Durant has been sidelined since January 8 due to an MCL sprain he sustained while still playing for the Brooklyn Nets.

Durant's return to the NBA has been highly anticipated, and his debut with the Suns is sure to attract even more attention, as he was recently traded to the team before the trade deadline on February 9.

The addition of Durant to the already talented Suns roster, which includes Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton, has made Phoenix an instant contender for the championship.

While Durant's extended absence may have an impact on his performance in his first game back, it will also give us a chance to see how he fits in with his new teammates.

Although Durant brings a lot of talent to the Suns, it may take some time for him and the team to build chemistry before they can compete for a title.

Durant requested a trade from the Nets a few days before the trade deadline, after his former teammate Kyrie Irving demanded a trade that sent him to the Dallas Mavericks.

This was Durant's second trade request in seven months, with Phoenix being one of his preferred destinations.

Durant's wish was ultimately granted, and we will get to see him suit up for the Suns in their upcoming game against the Hornets on the road.
