Klay Thompson Shines With 42 Points As Warriors Cruise To Victory Over Thunder
On Monday night, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 141-114 in their first game without Steph Curry.
Klay Thompson stepped up with a standout performance, scoring 42 points on 15-for-22 shooting from the field and 12-for-16 from three-point range.
Both teams started strong, with the Thunder putting up 37 points in the first quarter, but Thompson's 18-point quarter kept the Warriors in the game.

The Warriors took control in the second half, with Thompson and Jordan Poole's hot shooting proving too much for the Thunder.
Despite a 20-point deficit, the Thunder kept their starters in until late in the fourth quarter, but Warriors' coach Steve Kerr eventually substituted James Wiseman and Moses Moody.
The Warriors are now 28-26 for the season and tied for seventh in the Western Conference with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
They will face the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
