Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will be coaching against each other on Season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter, which may cause them to clash at some point during filming.

Although there is no real bad blood between them, Chandler has been angling for a match with McGregor dating back to his Bellator MMA champion days.

Late Friday night, Chandler shared a photo of himself and McGregor inside of the Octagon on the set of TUF 31, along with a quick blurb suggesting that he's letting McGregor walk around with an "illusion of dominance."

Chandler seems to be a little more reserved about his fight prediction and overall assessment of McGregor, unlike McGregor who has promised to "slice through" Chandler.

While being coaches, McGregor and Chandler will face daily obstacles and will be forced to interact with each other before they square off inside the Octagon later this year.

Chandler has a 2-3 UFC record since his arrival in 2021 and this is his chance to prove he has what it takes to defeat "Notorious" both physically and mentally.

Their coaching stint on TUF 31 will be interesting to watch as they both try to bring out the best in their respective teams.
