Neymar Ruled Out of Marseille Match And Uncertain For Champions League With Ankle Ligament Damage
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will be without Neymar for their upcoming match against Olympique de Marseille in Ligue 1 due to ankle ligament damage sustained during their previous match.
The injury update came after PSG's 4-3 victory over Lille OSC last weekend, where the 31-year-old was stretchered off.
Further tests conducted 48 hours later confirmed the sprained ankle and additional ligament damage.

Neymar's participation in the upcoming UEFA Champions League second leg against Bayern Munich is also in question, despite no further updates expected before next week.
Although Neymar scored one and assisted Kylian Mbappe in the Lille OSC win before his injury, he is racing against time to recover given his injury history and lack of proper rest since Qatar.
Nuno Mendes also picked up an injury in the same game, but the update on the Portugal international was more positive, and he is expected to return to training soon.
Mbappe, who recently returned from injury, made a successful appearance in the previous match, scoring two goals in the full 90-minute outing.
