Stephen Curry Breaks Warriors' All-Time Field Goals Record, Surpasses Wilt Chamberlain
Stephen Curry, the star guard of the Golden State Warriors, added another record to his long list of career accomplishments on Monday, surpassing NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain as the franchise's all-time leader in made field goals.
During the 128-120 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Curry's 38-point performance solidified his position in the Warriors' record books.
He already holds the top spots for games played, 3-pointers made, assists, steals, and total points in a Warriors uniform.
Curry passed Chamberlain with a driving scoop shot in the third quarter.
He is also the Warriors' all-time leader in field goal attempts, free throw percentage, and turnovers.
Curry still has some work to do to surpass Hall of Famer Paul Arizin in free throws and free throw attempts, but his 42.8% career 3-point percentage trails only Anthony Morrow.
