Bulls' Patrick Beverley Continues Taunting LeBron James With Mutombo Finger Wag

During a recent game between the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers, Bulls guard Patrick Beverley continued his taunting of Lakers star LeBron James.

Beverley stopped a scoring opportunity by deflecting a LeBron pass and then gave James the Dikembe Mutombo finger wag, a classic taunt in basketball.

This is not the first time Beverley has tried to get under James' skin; in their previous meeting, he hit James with the "too small" gesture after James scored over him.

Despite Beverley's antagonistic style, James knows better than to fall into his trap. Beverley is known for his feisty defense, but part of his strategy is to get into his opponents' heads and throw them off their game.

James, a former teammate of Beverley's, is familiar with this tactic. Although the Lakers are in a good position to make the Play-in and possibly qualify for the playoffs, Beverley has made it clear that he wants to help end their playoff aspirations.

While it remains to be seen if Beverley will succeed in his mission, he can at least take pleasure in his team's recent victory over the Lakers.

The Bulls won 118-108 in their previous meeting, and Beverley's taunts may have contributed to their success.

Regardless, it's entertaining to see the two players engage in a friendly rivalry. Beverly's Mutombo finger wag is a memorable moment that adds to the excitement of basketball.
