Luka Doncic Sends Message To Devin Booker After On-Court Exchange During Suns-Mavericks Showdown
During the Suns-Mavericks game in Dallas, tensions flared between Luka Doncic and Devin Booker.
Doncic fouled Kevin Durant after missing a potential game-tying floater in the final seconds, and Booker appeared to be saying something to a referee when Doncic went over to him and got in his face.
The two exchanged words before being separated, and Booker then got into it with Kyrie Irving as the teams were making their way to the other end of the floor.

Doncic downplayed the incident postgame, stating that it was a competitive game and that it was all good.
However, he did have a message for Booker, suggesting that he shouldn't wait until there's only three seconds left to talk.
Doncic believed Booker was talking to him initially based on what he said, but Booker claimed he was talking to the referee and that Doncic said something to him first.
Booker explained that there were no issues with Doncic and that it was simply two competitors going at it.
He mentioned that many people criticize the NBA for being too friendly and that when they're competing, they're competing.
There's no love lost between the two teams following last season's playoffs, where the Mavericks eliminated the No. 1-seeded Suns from the conference semifinals with a stunning Game 6 victory in Phoenix.
With the addition of ex-teammates Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, it's exciting to think that they may face each other again in the postseason.
Although the altercation was heated, it's important to remember that it's just part of the game, and both teams will continue to compete at a high level.
