NBA star Ja Morant has once again courted controversy after posting a shocking Instagram Live video, in which he appears to flash a gun while dancing topless in a strip club in the early hours of the morning.

This comes just days after a police report revealed that Morant "flashed a gun at a 17-year-old after punching him 12 to 13 times at his Tennessee mansion" last summer.

The Memphis Grizzlies player has been involved in a series of gun-related controversies, including a recent incident where he performed a gun celebration on the court during an NBA game.

The police report of Morant's actions has drawn criticism from members of the media, with some advising him to conduct himself differently now that he is in a different stratosphere.

Morant was also involved in a separate incident at a Memphis mall last summer, where he reportedly threatened the head of security during an altercation in the parking lot.

According to new details from police interviews obtained by The Washington Post, the 17-year-old plaintiff claimed that Morant hit him "12 to 13 times" and had a gun visible in the waistband of his pants with his hand on it.

Morant claimed he acted in self-defense, saying the plaintiff made verbal threats and said he was going to "light [Morant's] house up."

Morant was sued in September for allegedly punching a Tennessee teenager in the face during a pickup game, but he claims he acted in self-defense.

The plaintiff also claimed that Morant's friend struck him an additional "four to five times." Morant has been one of the best players in the NBA, earning $12,119,000 a year.

The Instagram video is just the latest in a series of tasteless clips involving the young NBA star. In the background of the video, topless women can be seen dancing while Morant laughs with his friends.

The 23-year-old Morant has been a two-time All-Star and is considered one of the best players in the NBA, but his recent controversies have raised concerns about his behavior both on and off the court.
