New York Jets Pursuing Aaron Rodgers' Receiver In The Midst of Quarterback Trade Rumors
Reports suggest that the New York Jets are making efforts to sign free agent wide receiver Allen Lazard, who was previously Aaron Rodgers' receiver during his time with the Green Bay Packers.
This comes amid rumors that Rodgers may be traded to the Jets.
Although Rodgers recently made a public announcement about entering a darkness retreat to make a decision about his future in the NFL, it is believed that he is open to the idea of joining the Jets.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jets are actively trying to reach an agreement with Lazard.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler notes that this move is related to Rodgers, who has worked with Lazard throughout the receiver's five-year NFL career.
However, the Jets reportedly like Lazard as a player in their offense regardless of the quarterback.
Schefter reports that Lazard has had 168 receptions for 2,216 yards and 19 touchdowns from Rodgers.
While former ESPN anchor Trey Wing claimed that a deal was in place for Rodgers to join the Jets, both Schefter and Ian Rapoport from NFL Network denied that any official agreement had been made.
Last season, Rodgers signed a three-year, $150 million contract extension with the Packers.
However, reports indicate that he may be unhappy with the team, and the 2022 NFL season saw Green Bay fail to make the playoffs for the first time in four years.
Rodgers' decision will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the Packers and the entire NFL.
Fans are eagerly waiting for his next move regarding his future in the league.
