Phoenix Suns’ guard Devin Booker was disappointed by the outcome of Game 1 against the Los Angeles Clippers, where Russell Westbrook made a crucial play to seal the Clippers’ 115-110 win.

The play in question involved Booker attacking the basket in the hopes of reducing the deficit, but Westbrook managed to block the shot and hit Booker's palm in the process, leading to a turnover.

Booker was hoping for a foul, but he acknowledged that he was not certain about the rules, and he did not make any excuses after the game.

Despite his frustration, Booker stated that he and the rest of the Suns were not dwelling on the loss, and they are looking forward to bouncing back in Game 2.

He emphasized that the playoffs were a tough environment, and such events were not uncommon, adding that he had been through the playoffs multiple times and knew what to expect.

When asked about Westbrook's defense in the controversial play, Booker said, "Wrist. Hand. It's over with," indicating that he was not interested in dwelling on the matter.

He also stressed that there were no excuses and that the team needed to be ready for every game, as one mistake could cost them the series.

Booker acknowledged that the Suns could not afford to give the Clippers any more confidence in the series and that they needed to focus on taking it one game at a time.

The team would learn from the Game 1 loss and come back stronger in the next game.

Despite the setback, Booker and the Suns remained optimistic about their chances in the series.
