LeBron James' Hilarious Response To Lakers' Overtime Win Against Jazz And Focus On Clippers In NBA Playoffs Race

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers had a remarkable performance during their recent game against the Utah Jazz, which resulted in an overtime win.

Despite easing into a full workload since his return from injury, James displayed NBA Playoffs form, scoring 37 points on 14-of-27 shooting from the field.

This win propelled the Lakers ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans, placing them in seventh place in the Western Conference standings.

Following the game, James was asked how the increased playing time would affect him during their upcoming back-to-back game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

In response, James gave a lighthearted and honest answer, saying he planned on putting his feet in an ice bucket to recover. ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk tweeted the statement.

The Lakers and the Clippers are currently tied at 41-38 and trail the Golden State Warriors by half a game.

This presents a golden opportunity for the Lakers to escape the play-in picture and move up in the standings.

The team has made a dramatic turnaround from a bleak start to the season, with head coach Darvin Ham successfully holding things together after the injury bug hit the team.

Despite facing scrutiny, Anthony Davis has been putting up big numbers in James' absence, and Austin Reaves has stepped up, earning himself a promising future.

With James demonstrating his ability to withstand a heavy workload, the Lakers are poised to make a deep run in the playoffs.
