Jorge Masvidal has made it clear that he has no interest in fighting Jake Paul after the YouTuber-turned-boxer's unbeaten record was broken by Tommy Fury.

Masvidal, who is still under contract with the UFC, had been one of the many MMA names that Paul had called out to face in a boxing match.

However, the fight never materialized, and Paul went on to fight and defeat Anderson Silva.

Masvidal acknowledged that if Paul had remained undefeated and become a household name, he would have been interested in fighting him. But now, he sees no purpose in it.

Masvidal, who takes on Gilbert Burns in the co-main event of UFC 287, has already acknowledged that this could be his last fight if he loses his fourth outing in a row, potentially leading to a UFC exit.

Meanwhile, Paul is set to make his MMA debut for the PFL in 2023.

Masvidal stated that there is no scenario where they collide in the cage, especially as he doesn't view Paul as a draw.

According to Masvidal, he signed up for the sport to fight the best in the world or to make the most money possible, and Paul doesn't fit either of those criteria.

He also stated that Paul doesn't bring a prize in any way, shape, or form, and he doesn't see any purpose in fighting him in a prize-fighting ring.

Masvidal believes that Paul's biggest draw was against Woodley, where he got 80,000 buys, and influencers like Paul don't sell pay-per-views.

Masvidal is in the promoter business and knows that if influencers were selling pay-per-views, he would book them, but they don't sell.

Therefore, he doesn't see any reason to fight Paul in MMA, let alone in a boxing match.

Although Masvidal would allegedly beat Paul's ass, he sees no purpose in doing so in a prize-fighting ring.
