Following a controversial incident with Draymond Green during Game 2 of the playoffs series between the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors, Kings player Domantas Sabonis is currently undergoing medical assessments to determine if he sustained any injuries.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that Sabonis will have X-rays on his ribs and lungs.

During the game, Green was ejected after stomping on Sabonis, who was holding onto his leg during a play for a loose ball in the fourth quarter.

After the incident, Sabonis appeared to be in pain and was assessed a technical foul while Green was assessed a Flagrant 2.

Regardless of whether the incident was intentional or not, the fact remains that a 230-pound person stepping on someone is dangerous.

The Kings will have two days of rest before Game 3, which will be played at Chase Center, where the Warriors will seek to even the series.

During this time, Sabonis and the Kings will have sufficient time to assess their big man and determine if he is fit to play.
