Odell Beckham Jr., the NFL star, will not face criminal charges following an assault allegation where he was accused of grabbing a woman by her throat at a Los Angeles nightclub.

Prosecutors have concluded their investigation and found no basis for pressing charges against Beckham.

Surveillance footage from the Delilah restaurant in LA reportedly contradicted the account provided by the complaining witness.

Furthermore, the video did not show any evidence of battery, and there were no witnesses who could corroborate the alleged victim's claims.

Ultimately, the prosecutors determined that there was insufficient evidence to support the case beyond a reasonable doubt.

Beckham's representatives stated that they had not been contacted by the police and were unaware of any investigation into the allegations. They strongly denied any wrongdoing on Beckham's part.

John Terzian, the owner of the nightclub, confirmed that the venue had been contacted by the police regarding the investigation.

However, he stated that there was no evidence supporting the alleged incident, as the person making the claim was not even in the area where the incident was said to have occurred.

After sitting out the previous season due to a torn ACL suffered during the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl victory in 2022, the 30-year-old wide receiver signed a one-year, $15 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens in April. The contract includes incentives that could potentially increase his earnings to $18 million.

Despite months of uncertainty, star quarterback Lamar Jackson also agreed to a lucrative five-year, $260 million deal with the Ravens, ensuring that he and Beckham will be teammates at M&T Bank Stadium on Sundays.
