According to a report, Conor McGregor's powerful left hook made a lasting impact during a recent NBA Finals event.

The former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight champion attended Game 4 in Miami to promote his new pain relief spray and engage in a halftime boxing match with Burnie, the Heat's mascot.

Despite the exhibition nature of the fight, McGregor unleashed a devastating blow that sent Burnie crashing to the ground, resulting in the man inside the mascot suit being rushed to the hospital.

This incident was confirmed by Sam Amick of The Athletic. McGregor didn't stop there, following up with another punch and even applying his pain relief spray on the mascot as it was being carried away.

The Irish fighter remained for the remainder of the game, which saw the Denver Nuggets triumph over the Heat with a score of 108-95.

McGregor, who hasn't competed professionally since his loss to Dustin Poirer in July 2021 due to a broken tibia, is not yet retired.

He has a future bout scheduled against Michael Chandler in late 2023 and has expressed interest in a rematch with Max Holloway.

McGregor's victory over Holloway by unanimous decision in August 2013 marked his first fight in the United States and left room for an exciting potential rematch.

Currently, McGregor is serving as a coach on the reality TV show The Ultimate Fighter, which premiered on May 30. Despite his time away from the Octagon, McGregor's recent actions in the boxing skit serve as a reminder that his power and intensity remain intact.
