Ryan Garcia Opens Up About Team Betrayal, Gervonta Davis' Team Cared More Than My Own

Ryan Garcia has expressed his disappointment with his own team following his defeat to Gervonta 'Tank' Davis last April.

According to Ryan, some members of his team did not show up at the post-fight press conference, leaving him to face the media alone.

This experience made him realize that Davis' team seemed to care more about him than his own team did.

As a result, Ryan decided to part ways with his trainer Joe Goosen and has reportedly not spoken to his promoter Oscar De La Hoya, who was absent from the press conference.

Ryan believes that someone within his training camp betrayed him by providing information about his preparations to Davis' team.

Although he does not reveal the identity of this person, Ryan is certain that they will not be given a second chance to betray him.

He has now enlisted the services of a new trainer, Derrick James, and plans to work with different sparring partners for his next fight.

Reflecting on the situation, Ryan acknowledges that losing the fight opened his eyes to those who were truly supportive of him.

He felt abandoned by some members of his team, but he is grateful to have seen their true colors. Despite the disappointing actions of his team, Ryan is still under the same promoter and remains hopeful that the situation will improve.

He emphasizes the importance of his faith in God, the support of his mother, and the loyalty of his new team moving forward.
