The Team USA roster for the upcoming World Cup this summer has received a significant boost with the addition of two talented players: Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Ingram.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, both players have committed to representing the United States in the international competition. With these new additions, Team USA now has a total of eight out of the expected 12 players on their roster.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is known for his exceptional defensive skills, having been named the Defensive Player of the Year. His ability to protect the rim will be a valuable asset for the team, along with his capacity to stretch the floor, which is crucial in the international game.

On the other hand, Brandon Ingram brings scoring prowess to the team, fitting the mold of previous successful Team USA scorers such as Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony. Despite missing a significant portion of the season due to a toe injury, Ingram averaged an impressive 24.7 points per game.

The World Cup will take place in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia, featuring 32 teams from around the world.

Team USA has been placed in Group C alongside Greece, New Zealand, and Jordan. This tournament serves as the primary qualifier for the 2024 Paris Olympics, adding further importance to the team's performance.

Under the guidance of head coach Steve Kerr, who is supported by assistant coaches Erik Spoelstra, Tyronn Lue, and Mark Few, Team USA will embark on their journey with a training camp in Las Vegas.

They will have an exhibition game against Puerto Rico before making their way to Abu Dhabi and then to Manilla, where all their World Cup games will be played.

The World Cup is scheduled to commence on August 25 and will run until September 10. With the recent additions of Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Ingram, Team USA's roster has become even deeper and more athletic, increasing their chances of success in the prestigious international tournament.
