Ja Morant has sent a strong message to the NBA following the Memphis Grizzlies' acquisition of Derrick Rose.

Due to a suspension, Morant is set to miss the initial 25 games of the upcoming 2023-24 season. In response, the team made a move in free agency to bring in veteran leader Derrick Rose, and former NBA player Isaiah Thomas believes this addition will greatly benefit Morant upon his return.

Thomas took to Twitter to express his thoughts, stating, "Watch what type of season Ja has next year with D Rose connected to his hip all year long. Once he gets off suspension, he will have his best season yet. That D Rose presence is going to have him on some MVP s***... Watch!"

Morant didn't let Thomas' tweet go unnoticed and responded with a warning aimed at the entire NBA. He wrote, "You too loud OG. They gon feel me fasho," suggesting that he plans to make a significant impact upon his return to the court.

It is noteworthy to observe Morant's increased activity on Twitter, considering a recent incident where the police conducted a wellness check on him after he posted cryptic messages on his Instagram stories. Morant reassured everyone that he was fine and explained that he had simply taken a break from social media.

However, it appears that his social media hiatus has come to an end, at least on Twitter. The Memphis Grizzlies will undoubtedly hope that the signing of Derrick Rose will provide the much-needed support for Morant, as Isaiah Thomas has emphasized.

Rose played a crucial role in the New York Knicks' culture change after being traded to the team, aiding them in reaching the playoffs for the first time since 2013. Despite not featuring prominently in the rotation this season, Rose's leadership qualities garnered high praise from the organization.

This signing could prove to be immensely beneficial for Morant's development and progress. Both the league and fans alike are eager to witness him embark on a positive trajectory and fulfill his potential on the basketball court.
