Kai Sotto faced another benching as the Orlando Magic suffered a defeat against the Indiana Pacers, with a final score of 108-85, during the NBA Summer League on Tuesday morning (Manila time) at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Despite being included in the lineup, the 7-foot-3 Filipino center received a DNP (Did Not Play-Coach's Decision) designation for the second consecutive game, following his absence in the team's opener against the Detroit Pistons.

The Pacers' offense was led by guard Andrew Nembhard, who contributed 21 points, seven assists, three rebounds, and three steals.

Additionally, Isaiah Jackson delivered an impressive double-double performance, securing 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Kai Sotto is among the 22 players selected for the Summer League roster of the Orlando Magic, showcasing his potential and talent to the coaching staff and fans.

However, his lack of playing time in the past two games raises questions about his role and utilization within the team.

The Orlando Magic will have their next opportunity to compete on Thursday, July 13, when they face the New York Knicks.

This upcoming game presents another chance for Sotto to showcase his abilities and earn valuable minutes on the court.

Fans and supporters will undoubtedly be eager to see how the team performs and if Sotto will have an opportunity to contribute to their success.
