Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp had to cut short his practice session on Tuesday due to a hamstring injury, as announced by the team.

At the moment, the Rams are unable to provide a specific timetable for his return. Kupp appeared to experience discomfort during a route, as noted by head coach Sean McVay, who didn't receive a detailed update from the medical staff during his news conference.

Expressing concern for Kupp's well-being, McVay hopes for a positive outcome. The team confirmed later in the day that it was indeed a hamstring injury.

Kupp's connection with quarterback Matthew Stafford is crucial for the Rams, who aim to bounce back after a challenging 2022 season with a 5-12 record during their Super Bowl defense.

In 2022, Kupp was among the high-profile Rams players affected by injuries. He endured a high ankle sprain in Week 9, underwent surgery, and was unable to return to action.

Nonetheless, Kupp displayed his talent, leading the team in various categories with 75 catches, 812 yards, and six receiving touchdowns despite missing the final eight games.

With Kupp's status uncertain, all eyes will be on forthcoming updates, hoping for a swift and complete recovery for the talented wide receiver.
