Brian Daboll, the head coach of the New York Giants, found himself in the spotlight after a game-sealing pick-six on a Monday night game.

Cameras captured Daboll engaged in a somewhat animated conversation with his quarterback, Daniel Jones, as Jones left the field. Following this exchange, Daboll was seen displaying an image on a tablet to Jones before tossing it with a spin as he walked away.

Reporters were eager to know what Daboll was trying to convey to Jones through the tablet. In response, Daboll stated, "I was trying to show him what I saw and get his thoughts on it."

However, he remained tight-lipped about the specifics of what went wrong on the crucial play that resulted in a touchdown for the opposing team, saying, "I'm not going to get into the particulars; we just didn't get the job done."

In retrospect, it's clear that the play had its challenges. Tight end Darren Waller was open in the back of the end zone, but Jones opted to throw to a different target.

This decision proved costly as Seahawks cornerback Devon Witherspoon intercepted the pass by jumping the route. To defend Jones, it's important to note the relentless pressure he faced throughout the game, leaving him with minimal time to confidently set up and locate open receivers.

Despite these obstacles, the fact that the Giants were even in a position to score a touchdown was remarkable. This was largely due to Jones's ability to improvise and make plays with his legs when other offensive options failed.

In the world of football, quarterbacks often receive accolades when things go well and shoulder the blame when they don't. On this particular night, things went awry largely due to the porous state of the Giants' offensive line, which resembled Swiss cheese minus the cheese.
