Jeff McNeil Clinches 2022 NL Batting Title, Drives Home A Blue Ford Bronco In 2023

In a fulfilling turn of events, Jeff McNeil secured the National League batting title in 2022 and, true to his word, received a brand new set of wheels in 2023. 

Teammate Francisco Lindor, who pledged the car if McNeil claimed the batting title, fulfilled the promise with a blue Ford Bronco, officially completing the unique transaction last week, as confirmed by McNeil's agent, Garrett Parcell.

The tale unfolded in May 2022 when Lindor casually committed to gifting McNeil a car if he clinched the batting title.

McNeil's impressive performance, including a notable series opener in Philadelphia, propelled him to finish the season with a .326 average, edging out Freddie Freeman by a single percentage point.

Throughout the following year, Lindor remained cryptic about the promised car, often assuring that he would honor the bet without revealing specifics. 

Finally, in November 2023, Lindor delivered on his commitment, presenting McNeil with the coveted Ford Bronco.

The camaraderie between McNeil and Lindor, teammates since Lindor joined the team in 2021, adds a personal touch to this tale of triumph and camaraderie in the world of baseball.
