In a thrilling matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers at San Francisco's Chase Center on Saturday, NBA superstar Steph Curry etched his name in history.

The Golden State Warriors' sharpshooter reached the 22,000-point mark for his career, becoming the 35th player in NBA history to achieve this feat, as confirmed by the Warriors PR.

Currently occupying the 35th spot on the all-time scoring list, Curry sets his sights on surpassing Clyde Drexler's 22,195 points.

The seasoned player showcased his prowess with impressive averages of 30.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.0 steal per game, boasting a shooting accuracy of 51.2% from the field and an astounding 47.3% from beyond the arc in the season's first nine games.

Despite a recent setback against the Denver Nuggets, where the Warriors fell 108-105, Curry's performance remained stellar, contributing 23 points, five rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 34 minutes of play.

At 35 years old and in his 15th season, Curry continues to defy expectations and remains a standout player in the NBA.

With a 6-3 record, the Warriors currently hold the fourth seed in the competitive Western Conference.

Looking ahead, Curry and his squad are gearing up to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday evening, eager to build on their early-season success.
