In a recent episode of "The Draymond Green Show," the NBA star delved into his reactions to former teammate Kevin Durant's comments regarding his suspension, revealing a profound journey of self-reflection and growth during his 12-game absence.

Durant's initial remarks expressing concern for Green's actions on the court stirred strong emotions in the Warriors player.
Green, known for his assertive responses, decided to take a different approach this time.

He embarked on a "deep dive" to comprehend Durant's perspective, asking himself, "What do you want the world to know about you?" Green admitted that he recognized a need for the world to see his personal evolution since 2017, acknowledging that he hadn't allowed anyone to witness his growth.

Durant's mention of "help" sparked introspection in Green, who realized he needed to shed his childhood perception of the word and embrace the positive implications of seeking assistance. Acknowledging the foreignness of the concept of "help" in his upbringing, Green, hailing from Saginaw, Mich., recognized the maturity required to utilize the resources available to him as an NBA champion.

Approximately a week after the incident with Jusuf Nurkić, sources revealed that Green had initiated counseling and formulated a plan for personal improvement. The NBA reinstated Green after the 12-game suspension, and he returned to the Warriors facility with a refreshed mindset.

While asserting that he is still the same Draymond Green, he emphasized his commitment to becoming a better player, teammate, and person moving forward.

Green's journey showcases a pivotal moment of self-awareness and growth, highlighting a player poised for a significant comeback on and off the court. (Source: NBC Sports)
