Memphis Grizzlies' standout Ja Morant surprised fans on Monday with a major announcement unveiling his new AAU team, "Twelve Time."

The program is set to cater to 6th and 7th-grade boys, as well as 7th-grade girls. Morant took to Instagram to share the news, tagging the account @twelvetimeaau.

While the Instagram account is currently bare, expectations are high, considering the involvement of NBA stars in similar youth teams.

Given Morant's popularity, particularly among young players sporting his signature Ja 1 Nike sneakers, it's speculated that Nike might play a significant role in the venture.

Despite Morant's season-ending shoulder injury, his off-court endeavors continue to make waves.

Stay tuned for more details as Morant and Nike collaborate to shape the future of Twelve Time AAU. (Source: Sports Illustrated)
