Kevin Durant Makes NBA History In Suns' Victory Over Pacers

The Phoenix Suns triumphed over the Indiana Pacers in a thrilling Sunday matchup, securing a final score of 117-110.

The star of the night was none other than Kevin Durant, who not only led the Suns with an impressive 40 points but also etched his name in NBA history.

Durant's outstanding performance included nine rebounds, two assists, and three blocks. Shooting with remarkable accuracy, he boasted an 18/25 field goal record and a 4/7 three-point success rate in his 40 minutes on the court.

Notably, this achievement contributed to Durant's season averages of 29.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. 

The 2014 MVP has been a force to be reckoned with, showcasing a shooting accuracy of 53.2% from the field and an impressive 47.0% from beyond the arc over 35 games.


At 35 years old, Durant continues to rank among the top ten NBA players, and his exceptional performance raises anticipation for his potential 14th All-Star Game appearance next month.

With this victory, the Suns improved their record to 24-18, securing the seventh seed in the competitive Western Conference. 


The team has displayed consistency with a 7-3 record over the last ten games and is currently enjoying a five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, the Suns are set to face DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls on Monday evening in Arizona.
