During the recent Nuggets-Warriors game, Steph Curry achieved a significant milestone in NBA history.

The match took place at the Chase Center in San Francisco, where the Golden State Warriors were hosting the Denver Nuggets on a Thursday evening.

This marked Curry's 914th career game, surpassing Latrell Sprewell and tying Bo Outlaw and Allen Iverson at 242nd on the NBA's all-time regular season games played list.

Following his position alongside Iverson and Outlaw, Curry is poised to surpass Al Jefferson, George Hill, and Clarence Weatherspoon in his next games.

Despite approaching the age of 36 later in the season, Curry continues to showcase remarkable performance, maintaining averages of 27.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game, with a shooting accuracy of 45.8% from the field and 41.0% from three-point range in 31 games.

Anticipating his tenth NBA All-Star Game appearance, Curry remains one of the league's top ten players.

However, the Warriors find themselves in the 11th seed in the competitive Western Conference, holding a 16-17 record in their initial 33 games of the 2023-24 season.

Despite their current standing, the team has demonstrated resilience, securing a 6-4 record in their last ten games and most recently triumphing over the Orlando Magic with a score of 121-115.

In the recent game, Curry's impact was substantial, contributing 36 points, two rebounds, six assists, four steals, and one block in 35 minutes of play.

His efficiency was evident, shooting 12/20 from the field and 4/9 from three-point range. Curry's illustrious career has been synonymous with the Golden State Warriors, leading the franchise to four NBA Championships and making six NBA Finals appearances since the 2015 season.

His career averages of 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game underscore his enduring excellence on the basketball court. (Source: Sports Illustrated)
