Doc Rivers, currently the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, disclosed that he played a crucial role in advising the Los Angeles Clippers to pursue the blockbuster trade for James Harden.

Despite the Bucks' recent struggles since Rivers took over, he confidently asserted that Harden would be a better fit with the Clippers than with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Bucks, who were performing well under former coach Adrian Griffin, have faced a downturn with a 3-7 record since Rivers assumed the coaching position.

Meanwhile, the Clippers' decision to acquire James Harden appears to be paying off.

Harden has seamlessly integrated into the team, contributing an average of 17.5 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game. The Clippers now hold the No. 3 seed in the highly competitive Western Conference.

This revelation adds an intriguing layer to Rivers' coaching journey, connecting his past with the Clippers to his current challenges with the Bucks.

As the playoff race intensifies, both teams will be closely watched to see how these coaching decisions impact their postseason aspirations. (SOURCE: Sports Illustrated)
