LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul, in a decisive statement, dispels rumors of a potential trade, asserting that James hasn't sought a move and won't be traded.

The Lakers, currently 25-25, face speculation amid a less-than-stellar season, but Paul, speaking to ESPN, insists, "LeBron won't be traded, and we aren't asking to be."

The buzz gained momentum after James' cryptic hourglass tweet following the Lakers' loss to the Hawks, fueling speculation about his immediate future.

KTLA reporter David Pingalore added fuel to the fire, suggesting the Lakers were considering moving the 39-year-old, though no definitive trade plans were stated.

While Pingalore correctly predicted past James-related news, Paul's public denial adds weight to the Lakers' commitment to salvage the season rather than embark on a rebuild.

The Lakers, currently ninth in the Western Conference, pulled off a stunning upset against the Celtics, hinting at their potential if everything aligns.

Despite the ongoing trade chatter, LeBron James continues to showcase impressive stats, averaging 24.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 7.7 assists per game.

With a $51.4 million player option for the next season, James has expressed a desire to play alongside his son, Bronny, who is eligible for the NBA draft but may opt for another year of college seasoning. (SOURCE: Fox Sports)
