Osceola Magic G League guard, Mac McClung, successfully defended his Slam Dunk Contest title in a jaw-dropping finale, leaping over none other than Shaquille O’Neal.

In a captivating moment, McClung brought out Shaq, adorning him with a personalized Gate City High School jersey bearing McClung's name—a nod to his alma mater in southwest Virginia.

With Shaq positioned under the basket, McClung soared for a flawless dunk, earning a perfect score of 50 across the board.

This extraordinary feat sealed McClung's victory over Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, needing only a 49.1 to claim the dunk contest crown.

As the crowd erupted in cheers, McClung hinted at a possible return next year for a three-peat. When questioned by TNT's Allie LaForce, he responded, "Never say never," leaving fans eagerly anticipating his future in the iconic competition.

McClung's triumph marked the culmination of an exhilarating All-Star Saturday night, featuring skills competition wins for Indiana Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton, Benedict Mathurin, and Myles Turner.
