Los Angeles Clippers' power forward P.J. Tucker faces a $75,000 fine from the NBA after openly expressing his desire to be traded, as reported on a podcast episode by ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk.
The league's statement references comments made during the week of Feb. 5.
The 33-year-old's frustration became evident when he wasn't traded by the Feb. 8 deadline, expressing discontent on his Instagram story, calling the situation "a f******g joke."

The Clippers had previously sent Tucker and Bones Hyland home during a road trip to alleviate playing time frustrations, with both expected to rejoin the team after the All-Star break.
Acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers in the James Harden trade, Tucker has played only 15 games for the Clippers, last seeing action on Nov. 27.

Despite having a $11.5 million player option for the next season, Tucker remains committed to contributing to a team's success and is described as unwilling to give up his player option for a buyout. (SOURCE: Yahoo Sports)
