Golden State Warriors guard Chris Paul found himself ejected from Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers after receiving a technical foul for labeling referee Tony Brothers a "TikToker."
Paul explained postgame, "He's talking to me, I talk back. I called him a TikToker, and I got a tech."
This remark was followed by a second technical for stating, "That's too much power."
When asked to elaborate on the insult, Paul remarked, "He's the judge, the jury, and all that."
Adding fuel to the fire, Paul shared a TikTok clip of Brothers on his Instagram story, wherein the referee expressed disinterest in basketball and referred to himself as "the judge, the jury, prosecuting attorney, defense attorney."

This incident isn't the first time Brothers has faced criticism from NBA players, with former Dallas Mavericks guard Spencer Dinwiddie previously accusing him of using derogatory language.
The Warriors' loss to the Pacers places them at 10th in the Western Conference with a record of 36-33. Up next, they'll face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.
