However, the buildup to this potential clash has been marred by uncertainty, with Chandler's recent remarks adding fuel to the speculation fire. In a seemingly sarcastic tweet, Chandler questioned his readiness for a summer fight, prompting mixed reactions from observers.

McGregor, known for his bold statements, didn't hold back in his response to Chandler's comments, dismissing him as a "f---ing imbecile" and expressing his determination to emerge victorious in the anticipated bout.

Despite the prolonged wait and numerous false starts, McGregor vs. Chandler promises to be a spectacle if it comes to fruition. The fight, initially teased over a year ago, has yet to receive an official announcement, leaving fans on edge.

Speculation about McGregor's future in the UFC has also intensified, with the Irish fighter revealing that he has two fights remaining on his contract. While a trilogy bout against Nate Diaz remains a top priority, McGregor's long-term plans with the promotion remain uncertain.

As anticipation continues to build, MMA enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting further developments regarding McGregor's return to the Octagon and his potential showdown with Chandler.
