During a clash between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies, Draymond Green's contentious history with the Grizzlies resurfaced in a dramatic fashion, resulting in a noteworthy altercation involving Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins.

The incident unfolded during the second quarter of the game, sparked by a heated exchange between Green and Grizzlies player Salti Aldama under the basket. Tempers flared as Green grabbed Aldama's jersey following a score, setting the stage for a tense confrontation.

As the game paused, Green found himself in a heated exchange with Jenkins and Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane. The verbal sparring quickly escalated into a physical altercation, with Green and Bane engaging in a shoving match. Amidst the chaos, Warriors' Gary Payton II was thrust into the mix and inadvertently collided with Jenkins, causing the coach to fall to the floor.

Despite the intensity of the moment, the situation was contained before spiraling out of control. Both Green and Bane were handed double technical fouls, but neither player was ejected from the game. However, given Green's history of on-court incidents, including previous suspensions, the NBA may scrutinize the altercation closely.

Green's disciplinary track record, which includes six suspensions totaling 25 games throughout his career, including a recent 16-game suspension earlier in the season, places him under increased league scrutiny. While this incident may appear relatively minor compared to past transgressions, the NBA's commitment to holding players accountable for their actions suggests that Green could still face disciplinary measures.

For the Warriors, who are entrenched in a tight playoff race in the Western Conference, maintaining Green's availability is crucial to their postseason aspirations. With the team's playoff seeding hanging in the balance, any potential suspension or disciplinary action against Green could have significant implications for their playoff positioning.

As the league reviews the incident and deliberates on potential consequences, both the Warriors and Green will await further developments, hoping to navigate through the remainder of the season without any significant setbacks stemming from on-court altercations.
