During an electrifying clash on Friday night between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Washington Wizards, James Harden made an indelible mark on NBA history.

The seasoned player delivered an outstanding first half performance, contributing 21 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two blocks in just 17 minutes of play.

Harden's precision on the court was evident, shooting 7/11 from the field and an impressive 5/8 from beyond the arc.

However, what truly marked this game as historic was his achievement of making 2,900 career three-pointers, making him only the third player in NBA history to reach this remarkable milestone.

This accomplishment adds to Harden's stellar debut season with the Los Angeles Clippers, where he's been averaging 17.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.

With a shooting accuracy of 44.5% from the field and an impressive 40.9% from three-point range over 52 games, Harden continues to be a crucial asset for his team. (Source: Sports Illustrated)
