Stephen Curry left the court during Thursday night's 125-122 defeat against the Chicago Bulls, sustaining an apparent ankle injury.

The star player landed awkwardly on a drive through the lane late in the fourth quarter, visibly rolling his right ankle.

Despite attempts to walk off the injury, Curry, a crucial part of the Warriors' recent success, eventually exited the game and headed straight to the locker room with just under four minutes remaining.

Head coach Steve Kerr revealed post-game that Curry had his foot submerged in a bucket of ice, providing no further update on the extent of the injury.

Curry's absence proved pivotal as the Warriors struggled down the stretch, ultimately losing the game.

Rookie Brandin Podziemski and substitute Lester Quinones were unable to secure victory in the closing moments, highlighting the impact of Curry's departure.

With a record of 14-5 in their last 19 games, the Warriors face a challenging period if Curry is sidelined. The team's depth will be put to the test, as Curry has only missed three games this season, all resulting in losses for Golden State.

Amid concerns about the severity of the injury, the organization braces for potential imaging of Curry's ankle as they gear up to face the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday at Chase Center. Fans and teammates alike express well-wishes for a speedy recovery, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in Curry's absence. (Source: CBS SPORTS)
