Udonis Haslem excludes Giannis Antetokounmpo from his current Top 5 NBA players, favoring the 39-year-old LeBron James

Haslem justified his choice on his podcast, The OGs Show, citing LeBron's continuous evolution and new skills displayed each season, a contrast he claims to have not witnessed in Giannis.

Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo's ongoing stellar performance in his 11th NBA season, leading the Milwaukee Bucks in their championship pursuit, Haslem remains unconvinced.

The former Miami Heat player asserts that while Giannis is an exceptional talent, he has yet to witness the Greek Freak returning with new and extraordinary skills, unlike LeBron James.

Haslem points to LeBron's post-playoff loss work ethic, highlighting the King's ability to consistently improve and surprise with new facets of his game. Haslem argues that Giannis, although formidable, relies on a one-sided playing style that may not be sustainable as he ages.

Giannis's remarkable statistics, averaging 30.7 points, 11.2 rebounds, 6.2 assists, on 61.8 percent shooting, are acknowledged, but Haslem remains firm in his stance, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement.

Whether Giannis's one-dimensional approach can secure long-term success is a debate stirred by Haslem's controversial exclusion from his Top 5 list. (Source: Sports Illustrated)
