Former Texas DT T'Vondre Sweat Arrested For DWI Ahead of 2024 NFL Draft

Former Texas defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat got into trouble with the law on Sunday in Austin, Texas.
He was arrested for driving while intoxicated, reported by Billy Gates of KXAN.com.
Sweat, a notable prospect for the 2024 NFL Draft, was released after posting a $3,000 bond. In Texas, DWI is considered a Class B misdemeanor.
The 22-year-old had impressive accolades during his college career, winning the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year and the Outland Trophy in the 2023 season.
He was noted for his performance, including two sacks, eight tackles for loss, and four pass deflections.

Scouts had labeled him as a potential starter for the upcoming draft, projecting him as a third-round pick and ranking him 67th overall.
With his large stature standing at 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 366 pounds, Sweat was anticipated to make an impact against the run in the NFL.
