Mexican boxing star Canelo Alvarez is open to fighting Terence Crawford, but he has one key condition: a massive payday.

Canelo, who has many potential challengers for a fight in September, sees Crawford as a standout contender due to his impressive career and reputation.

A bout between Canelo and Crawford would thrill fans worldwide. Canelo acknowledges Crawford's skill but emphasizes the need for the fight to be financially beneficial.

"I've fought bigger guys, smaller guys, older and younger guys. I'll fight anyone, but it has to be on terms that suit me best," Canelo said at a recent event.

Turki Alalshikh, an advisor to the Saudi Royal Court and head of Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Entertainment, is pushing for the fight. He wants it to happen in a major U.S. stadium with a significant pay-per-view audience, aiming for the end of this year or early next year.

However, Canelo faces a mandatory fight against Cuban boxer Scull, as ordered by the International Boxing Federation (IBF). Alalshikh hopes this won't interfere with his plans, expressing frustration over the IBF's decision. "I hope no one gets in our way, because if we want this fight, we'll make it happen," he said.
