Conor McGregor’s latest sparring footage has fans buzzing about his upcoming return to the octagon. The two-weight world champion hasn't fought since summer 2021, but he's set to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 this summer.

Despite spending a lot of time at his Dublin pub, McGregor has been training hard for his first fight camp in three years. In a new video shared on social media, McGregor is seen sparring at Crumlin Boxing Club in South Dublin.

The clip shows him almost dropping his opponent, showcasing his sharp movements and skills. Fans were quick to express their excitement, with one commenting, "Chandler gonna be called ‘scrambler’ after you land that left," while another noted, "Motivated McGregor is back."

Eagle-eyed viewers spotted McGregor using a punch similar to the one that won him his first undisputed UFC title against Jose Aldo in 2015. This has led to speculation that McGregor might be returning to his prime form.

"If this bugger has at least 50% of what was from 2015 to 2016, I believe he puts Chandler to sleep in the first round," wrote one fan. Ticket sales for McGregor’s fight against Chandler indicate that his star power is still strong.

UFC 303 has already surpassed $20 million in gate receipts, breaking previous records. McGregor continues to be a major draw, holding several of the top-grossing events in UFC history. Despite only fighting four times since his peak in 2016, his popularity remains unmatched.
