Former Basketball Player Drew Gordon Dies at 33 In Car Accident

Drew Gordon, brother of NBA player Aaron Gordon, tragically passed away at 33 years old in a car accident in Portland last night.

Drew played college basketball for UCLA and the New Mexico Lobos. Despite going undrafted in the 2012 NBA Draft, he built a successful career overseas.

He played for teams like Partizan in the EuroLeague, where he teamed up with notable players such as Nikola Milutinov, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Davis Bertans.

Throughout his career, Drew also played for Dinamo Sassari, Rytas Vilnius, Zenit Saint Petersburg, Avtodor Saratov, Lokomotiv Kuban, and Zielona Gora. He had a brief stint in the NBA, appearing in 9 games for the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2014-15 season.

Condolences have poured in from the basketball community worldwide, offering support to his family and his brother, Aaron.
